On Thursday, March 20 @ 11am ET, join Cary Institute for a virtual scientific seminar by Dr. Camille Delavaux, ETH Zurich.
This talk will highlight work demonstrating that plant mutualists – including mycorrhizal fungi, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and plant pollinators – shape global plant biogeography, with important consequences for evolution and ecology. This work shows that interactions between plants and mutualists are fundamental to understanding native and non-native plant biogeographical patterns, shifting the longstanding abiotic-centric perspective of island and plant biogeography to include mutualists.
Free and open to all. Registration required via Eventbrite.
